Fans of the Call of Duty franchise have been used to receiving an announcement about the latest Call of Duty game around May the year it’s released, but it may be different this year. The website Fraghero recently published an article stating that a UK magazine leaked Call of Duty Ghosts 2 and a release of November 2016. Fraghero reports that the image below was sent in by a reader named Mari Fernett.
Fernett says that she saw the image in the latest February issue of Games TM under a feature called “2016 Most Wanted Games”. Of course this could have just been a photoshopped image, but only a few hours later we got more evidence. The company in charge of this year’s Call of Duty, Infinity Ward, soon after the leak tweeted, “COD 2016. Now it’s official. Can’t wait to show you what we’ve been developing! #CallofDuty”. As of now, Infinity Ward hasn’t officially said they are working on Call of Duty Ghosts 2, but from what we’ve gathered so far, it looks to be the new Call of Duty game this year.
