In a livestream just today, Infinity Ward announced a new zombies gamemode for their upcoming game, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. This new mode is known as Infinite Warfare Zombies at the moment, but may get a more catchy name in the future. They’re saying they have drawn inspiration for this mode from their Call of Duty partner company, Treyarch. This is a good sign for both fans of Treyarch’s zombies mode and for those who did not enjoy Exo Zombies in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare made by Sledgehammer Games in 2014. Infinity Ward hopes to make this zombies mode a unique and different experience from other zombie related modes and says they will not be following the zombies storyline that Treyarch has made for their mode. The team also noted that there will be easter eggs in the maps and even said there may even be hints to the first easter egg in the image above.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare launches on November 4, 2016.
