A new free demo for Final Fantasy XV is out today; it was announced at the Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV event in Los Angeles. The demo allows players to play as Noctis during his childhood. The player is guided along the map by a creature known as a Carbuncle. The developers, Square Enix, say that the demo is meant to show off the graphics that will be in the final game as well as introducing players to the different combat and magic systems. At the end of this demo, players have the ability to name the aforementioned Carbuncle and will later be able to use them in the main game as a summon with the name they give it in the demo. The demo is only available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
